Hippo SDFC (W2) Disc Filter Element
Cellulose disc element for removing water and solid contamination from suitable oils and fuels. The 180 mm diameter × 90 mm high format is listed for the Hippo range.
Five system configurations. Seven replacement elements.
Choose a housing or complete polishing system, then identify the element for your fluid and contamination target. Each product has its own specifications and enquiry. Local stock, lead time and VAT-exclusive pricing are confirmed before an order is accepted.
Cellulose for suitable oil-and-water removal duties, polypropylene for suitable water-based fluids, and pleated grades for particulate removal. Confirm the existing element reference and housing before choosing a replacement.
Cellulose disc element for removing water and solid contamination from suitable oils and fuels. The 180 mm diameter × 90 mm high format is listed for the Hippo range.
Polypropylene element for suitable water-glycol and water-based fluid filtration. Select this media for the intended fluid rather than substituting an oil-and-water removal cellulose element.
Pleated particulate-removal element for suitable oil and fuel applications. Its 180 mm diameter × 90 mm high format is listed in the Hippo element range.
Pleated Hippo element with a published 1 micron absolute rating for particulate filtration. Select the grade against the fluid, housing configuration and required cleanliness target.
Pleated Hippo element with a published 3 micron absolute rating for particulate filtration. Select the grade against the fluid, housing configuration and required cleanliness target.
Pleated Hippo element with a published 5 micron absolute rating for particulate filtration. Select the grade against the fluid, housing configuration and required cleanliness target.
Pleated Hippo element with a published 10 micron absolute rating for particulate filtration. Select the grade against the fluid, housing configuration and required cleanliness target.
SDFC (W2) Disc is listed at 180 mm diameter × 90 mm high. The newer brochure uses W2D; that naming is not treated as a confirmed interchangeable stock code. Ratings that differ between brochure versions remain subject to confirmation on the product page.
Flow depends on viscosity and element selection. A high-pressure inlet option is not the same as the pressure rating of the filter housing. Confirm the complete valve arrangement, connections, fluid and cartridge reference before installation.
Single filter housing for an application-matched oil or fuel filtration circuit. Select the element for the contamination to be removed and the fluid being treated.
Single Hippo housing with a high-pressure reducing valve and flow compensation for a specified hydraulic installation.
Two Hippo housings mounted on a manifold block for an application-selected filtration circuit. Match the elements and flow to the actual fluid conditions.
Hippo bypass filtration system with a filter-blockage gauge and configurable inlet valve arrangements. The brochure describes an offline system; the driving circuit and pump scope must be agreed in the quotation.
Twin-pot oil or fuel polishing system with suction and return hoses, lances and a filter-blockage pressure gauge. Electrical supply, element selection and the intended fluid are specified by quotation.
