Power generation · Application guide
Prime-power and standby sets have different operating patterns. Build the filtration and sampling plan around the actual duty.
What to investigate
- Long idle periods and changes in operating conditions
- Mixing diesel polishing requirements with engine-oil filtration
- Service-interval decisions based only on low running hours
Your selection brief
- Generator and engine model
- Prime or standby duty and annual running hours
- Oil or diesel application, product and volume
- Current service schedule and storage or water concerns
Selection approach
Select engine-oil and diesel-filtration configurations separately. Confirm fuel compatibility for any fuel-polishing proposal. Preserve time-based as well as running-hour maintenance requirements until an approved change is justified.
What to measure
Record starts, hours, service dates and sample results. For a fuel-system enquiry, establish a separate scope rather than assuming an oil cartridge is suitable.
Starting points for discussion
These are catalogue options, not automatic recommendations for your machine. Final selection requires an application review.
