Mining · Application guide
Earthmoving, mine-support plant and hydraulic reservoirs need selection based on the actual fluid, duty and contamination load.
What to investigate
- Dust and dirt entering through breathers, seals, filling and maintenance
- Water ingress and contamination introduced during field servicing
- Mixed fleets with different oils, housings and service requirements
Your selection brief
- Machine model and compartment
- Oil identity, reservoir capacity and temperature range
- Operating hours, access and available power
- Contamination history and recent laboratory reports
Selection approach
Evaluate permanent bypass filtration for suitable on-machine circuits, or an offline system for reservoir servicing. Confirm hydraulic pressure regulation, hose protection, mounting and site installation requirements.
What to measure
Trend oil condition against the agreed target, cartridge consumption and actual service cost. Record changing loads, repairs and contamination events alongside sample results.
Starting points for discussion
These are catalogue options, not automatic recommendations for your machine. Final selection requires an application review.
