Keep fluid control in the production cycle.

Hydraulic presses · Application guide

A press reliability plan needs both contamination control and competent investigation of machine faults.

What to investigate

  • Contamination introduced during hose, cylinder and valve work
  • Water or dirt entering the reservoir during filling and servicing
  • Treating pressure, control or mechanical faults as filtration problems

Your selection brief

  • Press model, hydraulic circuit and component requirements
  • Fluid identity, working volume and operating temperatures
  • Symptoms, repairs and recent laboratory results
  • Approved connection points, isolation and service access

Selection approach

Discuss an independently pumped loop for compatible reservoir oil. A competent installer must review pressure boundaries, any stored-energy hazards and the approved circuit. General filtration guidance is not authority to connect to a press's high-pressure circuit.

What to measure

Compare fluid trends with maintenance events and operating duty. Log cartridge consumption and analysis costs, and separate production opportunity from verified cash savings.
